external image globecolorful.gifHello Boys and Girls,

It is with great pleasure that I introduce the DBQ page. We have been writing many Document Based Question essays on loose-leaf, but now I would like to afford you the opportunity to post your essays on our class wiki. I would like to remind all of you that in order to achieve a "4" on any essay you need to include an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion.
The introduction is extremely important because it sets up the entire essay. In other words, the introduction states the purpose of the writing. The body paragraphs help you answer the purpose by using information from the many documents you are given. Finally, the conclusion brings your essay to a close and it also restates the purpose of the essay.
I can't wait to see how many people decide to post their DBQ essays on here so we all have the opportunity to read them. Please, don't forget to use your best writing skills and be sure to look over your work before you post it. I don't want to see "lazy language" anywhere on this wiki!

Sincerely,

Mr. McNerney (Your biggest fan!)
